Re-engage.

OK, it’s time to get back to where I left off in early July, before I ran away for a spell. While August is the European month for vacation and downtime, it’s the U.S. season of back to school, back to work, and back to the grindstone routines.

Fair warning: This work/life balance idea might head in a different direction from what you’re expecting.

Before moving that idea forward, how about re-engaging where we left off, with a look at the idea of Life’s Work and what that might mean for you – just you, and not anyone else, not even your life partner or spouse.

And yes, there will be a theme, ish, to the titles, because having a naming convention gives me a starting place to support a more frequent and consistent writing/posting habit. It’s a crutch, and a good one.

Here’s what I have in mind:

Recommit, Re-engage, Reconsider, Reassess, Review, Redefine, Relish, Relay, Reinvent, Restore, Reinvigorate, Remind, Reflect, Reevaluate, Renew, Rekindle, Refuse, Reallocate, Remember, Refresh, Reboot, Refine, Regulate, Rejoin, Reload, Require, Reroute, Return. Remix, Recap, Relax.

Hint for tomorrow (title: Reconsider)? A two-by-two grid (which ties with a Venn diagram for my favorite visual construct).

See you then.
